About
About
I’ve always loved to tell stories and be a part of them.
Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, I was fortunate enough to have my love of reading and writing fostered by supportive parents who read to me nightly, an excellent public school education, and a robust public library within walking distance from my home.
Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I enjoyed acting and singing in community theater productions, which furthered my love for performance and storytelling.
I care deeply about issues such as gun violence prevention, LGBTQ+ rights, accessibility advocacy, and animal welfare. I enjoy volunteering with non-profit organizations that focus on these important causes.
When I'm not writing, you can find me indulging in my hobbies, such as reading, journaling, gaming, performing and watching improv comedy, crocheting, hiking, and watching movies.
Additionally, I am proudly and openly a member of the queer, disabled, and neurodivergent communities. These aspects of my identity are integral themes in much of my creative work and greatly inform my values.
Education
In 2022, I received my Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. I also minored in criminology and was inducted as a member of two international honor societies: Delta Alpha Pi and Sigma Tau Delta.

While at Butler, I participated in a number of extracurricular organizations, including serving as a member of the Desmond Tutu Peace Lab Think Tank (2021-2022), PR Chair for Butler’s LGBTQ+ Alliance (2020-2021), and as a performer in Butler University’s Improv Troupe.
